After graduating in Cultural Studies and Rhetorics at the University of Tübingen in 2008 I started working at the ESB Career Center. Besides organizing the Career Center, I was also entrusted with developing the ESB’s relationship with its alumni association ESB Reutlingen Alumni e.V. When the association asked me to manage their new office on campus in Reutlingen in 2012, I gladly accepted and still enjoy working there every day.

Since then I have been the first point of contact for all matters concerning the alumni network. I work closely with the managing board and operate at the interface between alumni, students and ESB Business School. I do the planning, organizing and coordinating of events arranged by and for alumni. I am also responsible for our magazine “Europolitan” as well as our online communication on different social media channels, regular newsletters etc. With my background in humanities I surely bring some variety to our team.

To enable former and current students to stay connected is a great job. The most important part of the alumni network is the people and we work together to pursue a common goal. I love what I do.

Online marketing, building relations with the community through social media and organizing events people are going to remember – these are my contributions to the ESB Alumni network. The ESB was the reason for me and my family to move from Hannover to Reutlingen in summer 2019. So one could say I have a very personal relation to this faculty.

After my commercial training as travel agent, I worked for several years at TUI in various positions in hotel purchasing and product management. Following my enthusiasm for languages and history, I studied linguistics and history at the University of Göttingen, from which I graduated in 2017. Afterwards, I returned to tourism as online marketing manager for a boutique tourism operator in Hannover. Throughout my career, fascinating customers for “my” product has always been my favorite task. Thus, I am excited to be part of ESB Reutlingen Alumni e.V. – even after all the adventures I experienced during my parental leave.

Finances, Controlling and cost analysis – this is what I stand for at ESB. After graduating in International Management in Germany and earning my MBA in Spain I initially worked in various industry positions related to finance. I joined ESB in 2013 working for the  Vice-Dean Finance and Controlling with the objective of giving oversight and guidance with regards to the financial activities of ESB. Furthermore I support V.I.M.A. e.V.  and since May 2019 also ESB Alumni Reutlingen e.V.. So, if I can assist or support you in the area of finance, please do not hesitate to contact me via e-mail as depicted below. I look forward to getting in touch with you.

For a long time I have already been connected to ESB: In June 1989 I started working in the ESB student office, where I had the opportunity to meet and support various generations of young ESB students. During my parental leave I began working for the V.I.M.A e.V. Moreover, I have been assisting ESB Alumni in several administrative areas for years (e.g. job offers, mentoring and new members).
Through my work for V.I.M.A and the ESB Reutlingen Alumni e.V. I have never lost touch to ESB and I am always happy to hear what happened to “my” former students.

After starting my studies at ESB in 2019, I had the opportunity to get to know the legendary ESB spirit soon after the beginning. Since then, the team spirit and the helpfulness of the students has always fascinated me and makes me proud to be a part of this community. I also wanted to give something back to my fellow students and all the others who came before or will come afterwards. That was when I decided to get involved with the ESB Reutlingen Alumni e.V. because I like the idea of the network to connect all students and alumni across several generations and countries.

As a working student in Community Management, I can get a very interesting insight into the Alumni community and combine it with my passion for Social Media topics. I love to be engaged in facilitating the exchange between students and alumni of the ESB, and happy to be part of this amazing and highly motivated team!

From the first day on at ESB I was overwhelmed by the unique Spirit. It was about this time when I decided that I want to engage and participate on an extracurricular base. I asked myself the question: Does this Spirit live on even past university? After looking at the ESB Alumni Reutlingen e.V. I got all the answers I needed. Hundreds of former students that are still engaged to organise reunions and more! I was thrilled by this dedication which was showing me that the Spirit never dies! Presenting the membership values and the relevance of the alumni club is now within the scope of my tasks on campus as a student representative. I’m very glad to be a part of an awesome team!
